Mark A.: One aging preppy in a suburban New England locale near an airport; an atypical marketing, public relations, development, special events professional with my own consultancy group since 1987. Prior to that, I worked as an audience development, marketing and communications director for several national arts organizations. I also have a background as a journalist and writer. I'm usually found around designer caffeine, Broadway musicals, and (in summer months) near a pool or beach.
